Over two hours of music... the 2008 Medora Musical

The 2008 Medora Musical, a 2 ½ hour extravaganza, recently hired AMP to serve as the co-ordinating producers for their 2008 season.  The show is a monumental undertaking, involving producing and arranging over 2 hours of continuous medley or stand-alone music for a cast of 16 voices accompanied by a 6 piece band on stage and supplemented by orchestral playback tracks. 

Over three weeks, AMP's Sandy Tipping created the musical arrangements, produced the studio tracks in Nashville and created and engraved the rehearsal material.  The client then brought him to Minneapolis to oversee the rehearsal process until opening night in Medora, North Dakota. 

Curt Wollan, of StageWest Entertainment (producer of the musical) says "People really loved the show and you guys were great to work with.  We especially loved the terrific sound of the Nashville studio tracks, and want to definitely keep doing that."  We thank Curt for his compliments and are honored to have been selected for this contract.
